Pioneer Grant Program
The purpose of the Pioneer Grant Program (PGP) is to encourage businesses, particularly sales tax generating businesses, to develop and expand in Northlake, Texas.
The PGP offers a financial incentive to businesses wanting to be the first, or among the first, businesses of that type in Northlake and for existing Northlake businesses to expand within the Town.
Grant funds are awarded by the Northlake development corporations (DCs) to the types of businesses desired within specific geographic areas as guided by the Retail Recruitment Strategy and based on merit as determined by assessment of the business’ application.
To the greatest degree possible, this program objectively assesses requests for funding. However, the development corporation boards have a responsibility to review applications through a discretionary lens of supporting businesses that will build and strengthen the growing economy of the Town of Northlake.
