Trash and Recycling Services

Trash and recycling services are provided to Northlake residents through a partnership between the Town and Waste Connections, the company contracted to provide waste management services for the Town. Since May 2021, the Town has handled billing for trash and recycling, while Waste Connections has provided the actual service.

Collection Schedule:
•    Wednesday Collection: Most residents. Bulk trash pickup on the second Wednesday of each month.
•    Monday Collection: Residents east of IH 35W (Canyon Falls, Enclave at Chadwick Farms, Northlake RV Village). Bulk trash pickup on the second Monday of each month.

Curbside Guidelines:
•    Place trash and recycling curbside after 5:00 PM on the night before collection
•    Ensure items are curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day

Billing Information:
•    Trash and recycling services are bundled with water and sewer services
•    Billing statements are included in monthly water bills
•    Statements are distributed between the 26th and 28th of each month and are due by the 15th of the following month
•    If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, payment is due the next business day

Note for Harvest and Canyon Falls MUD Residents: The Town of Northlake does not provide trash and recycling services to these communities.  These communities are currently serviced by Republic Services.
