Town Services
Permits and Inspections
The Planning and Development Department handles all permitting and building inspections.
Residential Alarm Permits
The Town of Northlake does not require residents to obtain a residential alarm permit.

Northlake Police Department
The Northlake Police Department can be reached for non-emergencies at (940) 349-1600, extension 9. If you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 911.
The Northlake Police Department (NPD) strives to keep the community informed of events occurring in the community and educate citizens in personal safety and property crime prevention. To accomplish this, NPD follows a community policing model that encourages NPD officers to communicate with the citizens about crime prevention, safety, and crime occurring in the area. NPD pursues open lines of communication and partners with the community to provide the highest quality of life for those who live, work or pass through our town.

Denton County Emergency Services District (ESD) 1
The Denton County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 1 is a political subdivision of the State of Texas dedicated to providing fire protection, fire prevention education, and emergency medical services in the communities of Argyle, Bartonville, Copper Canyon, Corral City, Northlake, and surrounding areas of Denton County.
Special Districts
Special districts are geographic subdivisions established to provide services and/or infrastructure to an area or neighborhood. Property owners within a special district may pay an additional property tax to support the district. Property Tax Rate

Nixle Community Information Service
The Northlake Police Department has implemented Nixle as a communication tool to keep citizens informed about special events, road closures, and other relevant information that is occurring in Northlake.
Everbridge Emergency Notification System
The Argyle Fire District provides mass notification services for urgent and emergency needs via phone, text, email and TTY services through the Everbridge Emergency Notification System.
