About Eric Tamayo
Eric Tamayo has over 35 years of experience in Public Works. He came to Northlake most recently from the Town of Flower Mound Public Works Department. He started his career with the City of Sunnyvale, California in 1989. He has had the opportunity to work within several divisions of Public Works Departments, including water, wastewater, street maintenance and traffic.
Education & Licenses
Mr. Tamayo holds several Water and Wastewater licenses through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. His licenses include:
- Water Operator A
- Customer Service Inspector
- Wastewater Collection Operator III
- Wastewater Treatment Operator C
- OSSF Designated Representative
Mr. Tamayo's Mission
Mr. Tamayo’s mission for the Public Works Department is to construct, maintain and improve the Town’s infrastructure through the application of timely, cost effective and quality service to the citizens and businesses of Northlake.
Personal Life
Eric relocated to Texas from California with his wife and three daughters in 2001.
