The Town of Northlake has been made aware of scam text messages circulating that claim to be from the Texas State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). These messages falsely state that recipients have outstanding traffic tickets.
Please be aware that:
- The Texas DMV does not issue traffic citations.
- Any legitimate communication about Town of Northlake related traffic violations or citations will come directly from the Town of Northlake Municipal Court, not from the Texas DMV or any third-party agency.
