The Town Council of the Town of Northlake, Texas, shall convene at 5:30 P.M. on March 14th, at its regular meeting place Northlake Town Hall, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas 76226, and during such meeting, the Town Council will hold a public hearing on the creation of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Three, Town of Northlake, and its benefits to the Town and to property in the proposed zone. The proposed zone consists of approximately 478 acres generally located on the north and south sides of SH 114 between IH 35W and Dale Earnhardt Way/Cleveland-Gibbs Road, as more particularly described by a metes and bounds description available at the Town Hall and available for public inspection. The purpose of the proposed zone will be to use tax increment revenues to promote the development and redevelopment of property within the zone. All interested persons may speak for or against the creation of the reinvestment zone, its boundaries, or the concept of tax increment financing. The owners of property within the proposed zone will be given a reasonable opportunity to protest the inclusion of their property in the proposed zone. Following the public hearing, the Town Council will consider adoption of an ordinance creating the zone.
