TAKE NOTICE that the Town Council of the Town of Northlake, Texas, shall convene at 5:30 P.M. on October 9th, at its regular meeting place Northlake Town Hall, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas 76226, and during such meeting, the Town Council will hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance to amend the Project Plan and Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan and enlarge the boundaries of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Two, Town of Northlake, and discuss its benefits to the Town and to property in the proposed zone. The proposed enlargement of the boundaries of the zone will add approximately 155.783 acres to the zone and is generally located east of FM 156 and north of Victory Circle, at or near the Town of Northlake, Texas, as more particularly described by a metes and bounds description available at the Town Hall and available for public inspection. The purpose of the proposed expanded zone will be to use tax increment revenues to promote the development and redevelopment of property within the zone. All interested persons may speak for or against the creation of the reinvestment zone, its boundaries, or the concept of tax increment financing. The owners of property within the proposed zone will be given a reasonable opportunity to protest the inclusion of their property in the proposed zone. Following the public hearing, the Town Council will consider adoption of an ordinance enlarging the zone and amending the Project Plan and Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan.
