[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Boil Water Notice Still in Effect for Customers South of FM 1171

Earlier today, the City of Fort Worth rescinded a boil water notice for water service customers on the north side of the city. This update does NOT apply to Northlake water service customers. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requires each provider (including the Town of Northlake) to collect and test samples independent from any testing conducted by the wholesaler (the City of Fort Worth). To remain in compliance with TCEQ and ensure the safety of our water service customers, the Town of Northlake will only rescind the boil water notice after an independent test has been conducted.
.
After the events of this week, we understand that our customers might be disappointed by this update. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure that our water meets the standard our customers expect and deserve.
