Trash and Recycling Services

Providing trash and recycling services to Northlake residents is a shared responsibility between Town staff and Waste Connections, the company contracted by the Town of Northlake to provide waste management services to the community. Since May of 2021, the Town has been responsible for processing the billing for trash and recycling while Waste Connections has provided the actual service.

Trash and Recycling Service & Rates

Trash and recycling are collected each Wednesday. Trash and recycling may be placed curbside after 5:00 PM Tuesday night but MUST be placed curbside by 7:00 AM on Wednesday for pick-up.

Trash and recycling services are a bundled service provided to residents. Rates were last updated on April 1, 2023. 

Billing statements will be included in monthly residential water bills and will reflect charges for trash, recycling, water and sewer.

Statements for utility services will be distributed between the 26 and 28 of each month and are due on the 15 of the following month. If the 15 of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, payment is due the following business day.
