Fire & Emergency Services

The Town of Northlake is part of the Denton County Emergency Services District (ESD) Number 1, a geographical area including:

• Argyle
• Bartonville
• Copper Canyon
• Corral City
• Northlake 
• Surrounding areas of Denton County

Funding

The ESD is a taxing entity funded by property taxes for the purpose of providing emergency services within the district. The ESD is governed by a five-member board appointed by the County Commissioners.

Emergency Services

Fire, rescue, and emergency medical services within the district are provided by the Argyle Volunteer Fire District. The ESD also contracts with the Roanoke Fire Department to provide emergency services for the southernmost portion of the Town of Northlake.
